May Songwriting Challenge- Day 31: Right On The Money
And with this, the May Songwriting Challenge comes to a close. I’ve officially written more this month than I have in the past year. It was full of ups and down, and I finally feel like my muses have returned to inspire. To wrap this challenge up, I decided to finish one that has been in the back of my mind for a few months. I’ve had the chorus, but the verses just weren’t coming to me. That all changed this morning on my drive into work. I first got this idea after a quarter beer night at the Bluebird (nightclub, not cafĂ©) and thought it’d be fun to write a song about broke girls going out on ladies night.
