Years ago, when I was just a beginner, hoping to spread my wings, Layton took a chance on me. After I emailed him, asking if he would be interested in co-writing, he not only accepted my offer, but showed me the ins and outs of the songwriting industry.

Jake Dodds. Soon the country music industry will talk about the time they first heard his name. He is an amazing local artist, who took a few of the songs that Layton and I co-wrote, and incorporated them into his show. I'm so grateful for the opportunity to stand in a crowd, hearing my songs being played, and I hope that we will be able to write more for him in the future.

Although my membership has been an on-and-off occurrence, I love what the association stands for. I've had the opportunity to submit works through the critique services, I've attended workshops, and received mentoring in Nashville. NSAI is a valuable resource for any songwriter!
