A Return Trip to Nashville?

...It's only been a week since I left but I am feeling the need to return at some point in the near future. I read about this event called the Nashville Songwriter's Festival (www.nashvillesongwritersfestival.org), which will be taking place in June, and is located on Music Row. Sure a lot of people go to play...but the classes caught my eye. I mean, what better way to learn about the art, or craft as it is heavily debated, of songwriting. These classes are inexpensive and they seem, to me, like a great way to gain insight on the industry.
OR
....They are a good excuse to return to Nashville. Also this summer, if I am correct, the Tunesmith Songwriting Challenge (www.tunesmith.net) will be taking place! Which is another excellent excuse to point my pick-up south!! I would really love to have the chance to meet the people who have grown with me through the years, and to thank them for helping and encouraging me.
So, there are some choices to be made. The outcome will depend on a) ...if I can get off of work. and b) ...if the Tunesmith challenge has a first round that you have to make it through to go to Nashville.
Either way, I will be doing my best to return to Nashville.

Oh, and by the way, if anyone would like to donate, oh, I don't know, a few million dollars to the cause, I found my dream farm about 20 miles outside of Nashville. It's only $600,000 (the extra $1.4 million would go to start-up costs, buying a few horses, and converting one of the 5 bedrooms of the house into a recording studio.)...I think it's a worthy cause :)
