Red Wine and Vinyl Records
Since moving to Nashville, the creative juices have definitely been flowing…however they’ve been accompanied by my songwriting ADD. I have my little notebook with a half-dozen pages that have been started, but I haven’t really set aside any time to finish them. Yesterday I decided to carve out a little time to write and tune the world out for a bit. Luckily the sun was shining and it was warm outside. Seeing that Aaron was working on some brewing research and getting frustrated with the dogs jumping around, I took my boys down to the patio, enjoyed some master distiller Jack, and told myself that I was going to finish the first incomplete page in my book. Flipping through, I came across the hook written across the top; “Red Wine & Vinyl Records”. I remembered the night that I first thought about writing the tune. I had a rough week at work (this transition from seasoned veteran to new kid on the block has been an adjustment, to say the least), and I’d stopped by the local liquor...
