Now, this is not an anti-Indianapolis Colts lyric. No, this is a song expressing the grief being experienced by Colts fans far and wide. I love the colts. I still wear my blue and white on game day, and still try to believe that something marvelous will come together to produce a victory. But until that happens, I will be singing the following song

I was watchin' the big game
With blue and white painted on my face
On the winning side
Now it's like I'm caught in a dream
A nightmare 0 in 16
Is what some are prediciting
It sure is a far cry

From dominating the AFC
And going down in history
As a championship team
Like they did, not too long ago
We tried our best to have faith
But it's hard to watch twelve losses straight

Still can't believe that Peyton's out
Now there are rumors flyin' around
Sayin' that they doubt
He'll ever return
Painter, yeah he's a good kid
He'd better if he would quit
Letting the ball get picked
Maybe eventually he'll learn
