"I wanna do it as my next single"

I'm not going to lie, I squealed and jumped up and down a little bit as I read those lines. It was an email that I got from the artist that I wrote with last week. The fact that the first co-write that I've had with an artist is going to be a single is blowing my mind.

I had a second writing session with the artist last week and it was amazing. Maybe it was because it was the first time I'd listened to someone else do a song that I helped to write, but I seriously got chills.

There is a bit of a down side to this new writing gig....I'll probably be screening the lyrics that I post on here from now on. As long as we are still working together, I'll most likely hold off on posting new material until he says that he doesn't want it.  I'll still write, I promise! And I'm guessing he wont like most of my ideas, so they'll make it on here eventually.  But if he does like them....I guess y'all will just have to go out and buy the CD. :)
